There is most likely nothing wrong with your lock over time something has caused the panel and frame to get out of whack with each other. Fix a sliding glass door that won t lock or latch easy fix. These may need replacing but at the very least they could probably use adjusting. Dirt mud hair and fur can collect along the track and in the groove which clogs the rollers underneath and prevents smooth motion.

The first step is to check the rollers. I ve tried locking and unlocking multiple times and the door will not move. The lock in the frame seems jammed and isn t fully unlocking the door.
